Kara Kalupanov, MEd

Kara Kalupanov joins Pediatric Associates of Richmond in August 2026 as a Behavioral Health Specialist. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, MEd in Counselor Education and is a licensed K-12 School Counselor.

She has a background in school-based counseling and community case management supporting children and adults with mental health needs. When it comes to working with kids, Kara enjoys building relationships, helping them develop coping and problem-solving skills, and working alongside parents and providers as part of a team. She believes early intervention and collaboration are key!

Outside of the office, Kara enjoys camping with her fiance and dogs, spending time at a book club with friends, gardening, spending weekends at the river with her family, and trying out the latest food spots in Richmond.
