Miriam McAtee, M.D.

Dr. Miriam McAtee is a native of South Carolina.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Vanderbilt University, where she graduated cum laude.  She continued her education at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine then moved to Richmond to complete her Pediatrics residency at MCV.  Following residency Dr. McAtee spent one year as chief resident, and joined Pediatric Associates of Richmond in the summer of 2003.  She is board certified in Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  Dr. McAtee has been recognized by the Virginia Breastfeeding Taskforce as a Breastfeeding Champion.  She and her husband, Rob, enjoy living in the Museum District with their son and daughter.  Dr. McAtee enjoys running, but only because her main hobbies are cooking and eating out.
